Dear Service Vendor,

Ten years ago I founded the Software Support Professionals Association (SSPA) to focus on the specific needs of service executives who are responsible for support centers and overall customer relations. Today, the SSPA represents over 11,000 service executives from over 500 member companies. These executives look to SSPA to provide insight into the future of support services, a road map of best practices within our industry and access to the best service and support vendors.

I would like to introduce you to the Service Vendor Alliance (SVA), an organization dedicated to opening the doors of our virtual trade show as we bring buyers and sellers together – online! As you will see, there are many benefits to joining the SVA but our primary focus will always be to increase visibility of vendors and suppliers within the I/T service and support community. We will accomplish this by providing public relations and marketing presence directly to the SSPA membership as we reach out to the tens of thousands of potential buyers around the world. Our primary vehicle for spreading the word about first class vendors and products will come through our web portal site supportgate.com. I’ve included some web statistics to show you the volume of activity within this site, which is exclusively dedicated to software support professionals. Web traffic is impressive with millions of hits per month and growing everyday. Today, we have a global reach of companies that come to our site in search of support center information and products that will make their jobs easier.

Today, 70% of our visitors to supportgate.com hold the title of manager or above and have responsibility for either recommending or purchasing future service related tools and services. The Service Vendor Alliance provides vendors like you with 14 unique methods to reach these qualified buyers.

Please review the enclosed materials that outline the entire SVA membership and all of its deliverables, features and benefits. I think that you will agree that the timing is right for this critical alliance as customer service continues to become more and more important to our customers’ future success. I hope to see you soon as an SVA member.

Sincerely,

Bill Rose
